An M12 D-coded connector is a circular connector in the M12 family that is specifically designed for Industrial Ethernet applications. The “D-coding” refers to the keyway and pin layout that ensures correct mating and prevents mismatching with other M12 coding types (like A, B, X, etc.).
Key Features of M12 D-Coded Connectors:
1. Pin Count:
Typically 4 pins (for Ethernet: 2 pairs for data transmission).
Sometimes 5 pins (with an additional functional ground).
2. Data Transmission:
Supports Fast Ethernet (up to 100 Mbit/s).
